Lmao, I borrowed the tool from a friend and the quick connect adapter wasn't in the box.
Buy Actron Compression Tester Kit CP7827 at Advance Auto Parts
Like that but missing the adapter.
At least it will be a bit easier to take the plugs out this time because they were just broken loose.
I have decided though it is probably more important atm to get it flushed by a garage because I don't think it has been since it had the dex-cool crap in it. Also that wheel hub assembly, the idler pully is starting to go bad, and also needs new tires. I guess it's everything all at once. I can add coolant for a while until I get the results of the compression test. And maybe wait on tires until it's tested.
I will fill up next time, most of the time I don't really in town but the 16 mpg was taken from a road trip a while ago and it took pretty much exactly one tank.

stop by the local parts store and have the car scanned for trouble codes. if so write the code numbers down and let us know what they are.

As of like 3 days ago I had only P0155 and P1870. Need to get the new valve body for the transmission and replace that O2 sensor too. Really it is all at once haha.
I was wondering though, I am going to order the ELM327 and has anyone used that with windows 7? I can run a virtual device pretty easy but if I can just run it on 7 that would be nice.
