dont use stop leak in your car. just covers the problem up for a short time and can clog the radiator and/or the heater core and make the heat transfer in the block less effective. u need to leave the pressure tester on there for an half hour or more and see if it losses presure over time. also lets the fluid have time to show its ugly self.

When you pressure test a cooling system its not about seeing the leaks as much as seeing if the system will hold pressure. If the system is full of coolant and you have a small leak it can take 10 minutes before you see a drop in pressure. As long as the system can not maintain pressure for 10 minutes you have work to do.

Never use stop leak.

That's what I meant when I said to pressure test the coolant system. Its not to see if coolant leaks but to see if the system will hold pressure for an extended period. NEVER USE STOP LEAK!!!! it causes more problems than it solves. Also the plug and wire price sounds a lil much to me too, you should call around and get a few more quotes.

Default intake manifold

Ok i sprayed and wiped down the engine today let it dry for bout 5-6 hours then took a nice drive down the backroads when i popped the hood i did not see any leaks it was a little moist but no leak. Im thinking the mechanic who i had look at it might of ttried to take me seeing as there was a brand new jug of coolant opened and on his work bench. Coincidence IDK ? but im not finding any leaks now. this weekend when i chang ethe plugs and wires im gonna do a compression test what numbers should i be looking for and how exactly do i do it. i know that you pull 1 plug at time screw in the tester and then do i turn it over or ? how long do i let it run if so ? and what should i be seeing across the board. should be the same for all cylanders correct? thanks again guys for the advice and help. As always
