Unhappy 1996 Camaro PCM interchangeability?

I have a 93 Camaro 3.4l that I put a 96 engine/trans/susp/pcm etc into about 6 years go.
Suddenly my cooling fans stopped working. Fans work when D1 & D4 are jumpered, but not when the coolant temp sensor is unplugged.
I have no ground at A10 and A11 on the PCM and I think that means my PCM is bad? Can anyone verify this?

The tag on my PCM is 16214399 / 16242261 BWWY, which doesn't appear to match any broadcast codes I can find.
I was hoping to just buy a cheap PCM on ebay and stick it in but it doesn't appear that there are many AT 96 camaro PCMs around...
Which used PCMs can I plug into my AT 96 LT1 Camaro?
Impala/Corvette? perhaps a 97? Any help GRATEFULLY received

(To bypass the VATS/PCM issue previously, I popped the resistor out and stuck it into my old ignition key. heh)

It's a 96 Z28 motor, I bought an entire wrecked car for the swap.

It's why I'm so confused about the broadcast code not being in the LT1 lists.

Could be somebody swapped a different computer into that 96 that you got it from, making the confusion snowball.

looks like this computer has been used for a few different cars including a vette. may want to call a tuner like solomon LT1 PCM Tuning - OBDI/OBDII PCM Tuning/Programming Service or madtuner http://www.madtuner.com/index.php?pa...mart&Itemid=26 .

The 96 PCM is the red headed step child of the programmable PCMs. Step one in tuning a 96 is buying a PCM from a 97. PCMsforless will sell you a tuned 97 PCM that is plug and play with your 96 but you cannot use your 96 PCM as a core so it will cost you a little more. That is assuming your PCM is from a 96
