1989 Corvette Wheels - value?
Moderators: Not sure where to put this on the forum, feel free to move it where it needs to be...
When I got my 2000 Camaro, it came with 1989 Corvette 16" rims 255/50R16. They're silver color with black centers, 5 lugs. But, I'm not sure how to find out the current value. Anyone know how I can figure that out?
I ultimately just want to know so I can maybe trade them for a modern 5-spoke open design. Does anyone know avenues I can explore for doing such a swap (I've already tried posting to Craigslist)? Do any places like Discount Tires buy/sell/trade RIMs?
Thanks.

Not much value in the size you have. Your best bet is to try to sell them in the for sale section of the Corvette Forum. If theyre in mint condition, someone restoring an early C4 you could have a deal. as far as value, maybe $300. (in MINT condition) Also, 89 vette wheels are not the type you describe. 89 used whats called 17" "Salad Shooters"... The 84,85 & 86 used the style you describe. Good luck to you.
