are the 160 thermos any good,do they keep your car cooler?i wana get it for 02 ss should i?

The 160* stats work good for keeping the car cooler and the cooler the car is the less it will knock and will let your car run a little better performance wise.

It will keep the engine cooler at highway speed. However; in slowtraffic where the fan is needed, the t'stat will open wide but the engine temp will continue to rise until the fans turn on at around 220 degrees.
