Default @*&$#!!!

well i think i just screwed myself over on this one. i was trying to change the fuel filter on my 94 3.4L and it was stuck on there pretty bad so i got some PB blaster and used that which didnt really help. now for the fun part - i went to try it again tonight and first thing that went wrong was i couldnt find my 13/16 wrench needed to loosen it. so after searching around endlessly for it i finally just decided to use some robogrips which wasnt a good idea i guess because i think i just screwed everything up. while trying to loosen the nut on the filter SOMEHOW I MANAGED TO TWIST THE G@#%#MN FUEL LINE!! after about 10 minutes of yelling every word in the book i went to start it and nothing seemed to be wrong - there didnt seem like there was any kind of leak or anything but what im worried about is if there is going to be too much pressure in there because it made the area where the fuel came out of the filter a lot more harder to escape but it still obviously can because there was no problem in it idling for a few minutes. i really could use some advice on this one hopefully by the end of the night because i need it tomorrow todo some last minute shopping to get my girl a nice gift. please help me here guys!

Is it twisted more like a spiral and not like a crease or fold? If so, and if it drives fine, then I wouldn't worry about it. If it's only twisted you now have a littlerestriction, but look at it this way; if you were to disconnect the fuel line, leave it openand make the pump run constantly, your tank would draina lot faster than normal wouldn't it? You better hope your engine doesn't need that much gas to run!

It's a 3.4 liter...I hope it wouldn't need that much gas to run.

If it starts to backfire then you know it is not gettin enough gas, meaning you prolly have the gas line pinched

Next time use the proper tools. They make line wrenches just for that reason, robo grips are for robo hacks. They only thing I have ever used those for is to open beer bottles.
On the other hand, I have found that when you wanna push your ride down a steep mountain because your so pissed, its better to walk away and try again tommorow when your mind is more zen like..
