Default What needs to be done

The 400 small block i was looking at is gone but i can get my hands on a late 80s vet motor. So what all needs to be done to put a fuel injected motor in my 84? I am planing to make this car really fast and i never did any modafacations to a motor before so i need help and advice on what and what not to do. My town is full of ricer and i want a car that can bet a turbo civic and all that crap. What kind of kits r bigger that a 383 stroker and what is the best to get the most out of a 350?

me personally, i wouldnt go with anything bigger than a 383 stroker for the street cuz then you just start to weigh the car down unless you got the money to do it right. are you goin to be doinall the work yourself??

As much as i can. One of the guys was giving me **** about my camaro we owns a twin torbo eclips and he said all the $ in the world won't make my camaro beat his 11 sec car and i would like to prove him wrong so i want to get as much horse power out of that 350 as i can.
