i have a universal fuel pressure regulator and i was wondering how i can put it on my tpi engine?
the factory fuel pressure regulator is mounted on the fuel railand mine take hoses to it.

 

Does not seem to be very universal. You should avoid chopping up the fuel system, if at all possible.

 

also on those cars the fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel rail , so adding a regulator in front of it will do nothing because the one on the rail will regulate the prssure in the rail. so even if you put a universal regulator in the fuel line , the one on the rail will still regulate pressure back to stock pressure.

 

i found some adaptors in the package that said TPI on them and they are made to fit one the fuel rail in place of the stock fps. i put it on and it worked fine.
