ok the plastic end on my tv cable that hooks to the tb broke now im shifting at 5k rpms and have no kick down

how does it hook up to the trans as i must go to the junkyard to get one

and what other vehicles have compatible tv cables. im thinking late 80 to late 90s silverados with the 350 v8 and 700r4

i have an 1989 305

any help soon would be greatly appreciated as im out of college at 230 today and im heading straight to the junkyard.
ill check the site again before i leave

 

buy a new one, not a used one. it is the only way to be sure that its going to work right and not be broken or corroded inside. as far as trucks, they are probably the same. it goes into the trans near the dispstick. its a bit of a pain to get off, so take it off the TB first.
