ok 2 questions...whats the diff b/t the ford and chevy t-5 and a v8 and v6 t-5, now my 2nd question...is the t-56 the same length as the t-5 and will the 56 line up with everything like the t-5? just wonderin. thanx

 

i dont know ford, but i can almost guarentee they wont bolt up to a chevy engine(atleast not a factory ford t5) and the v6 and v8 are different bellhousings so they will only bolt up to the right engine.

 

so i can put a v-6 t5 on my v8 if i keep my bell housing or i need to grab the other one?

 

The v6 T5 is a 14 spline input but the v8 is something like 26 spline. The v6 t5 will bolt to the v8 style b/housing but you will have to purchase the correct clutch disc whichsummit sells. I'm not sure if there is a strength difference between the two. Might be easier to find a complete v8 t5 with bellhousing.
