Default time to start modding my little 305

whats going on fellas, ive come to the conclusion thats its time to start modding my 305 h.o , it does have alright power. but i need more, i know most people think its pointless, but i gotta work with what i got. i decided on a few mods to start off with

new msd ignition
jet performance chip-http://www.performancecenter.com/product/Chips+%26+Programmers/Chips+~+Modules+~+Programmers/0/4/0/CHEVROLET/1991/Camaro/5.0L
headman headers
new intake manifold
bbk throttle body

ne ideas on how much horsepower id be putting down?i already have a new flowmaster exhaust. ,so what do u guys think? ur input would be much appreciated, and also can u tell me which one of those chips u think would be the best buy.

Thanks in advance guys

I had a 72 Nova with a 305 in it. We changed to a kinda radical cam (had to keep one foot in the gas at stop lights), added a Carter AFB Competition Series carb and headers. The car had a 3.73 rear end and it was close to 300 hp.

305's are great little engines, don't let anyone tell you modding one is pointless.

Did it happen to have an automatic? Did you happen to use a stall converter so you would NOT have to keep a foot on the gas at a stop?

No dont let anyone tell you not to mod your 305. Definitely do everything you said you were going to do but remember to get a new thermostat with that chip your putting in.
