mike, i dont know if he got 30 grand out of it or not. i mean the thing was brand new but i still dont belive it was worth THAT much. but if he did all i can say is good for him. i once had the opportunity to buy a 1985 IROC, it was silver and had 107,000 miles on it, it was in great shape. and was the 305 tpi with auto trans. all it needed was valve stem seals and i could have snagged it for 1,000. still kick myself to this day for not buying it.

i purchased my 86 IROC in ohio 6,000.00 . black on black 305 TPI 4 spd auto with 65k original miles, books for 7,000. i think i got a deal. took it to a car show the other day and people were starin at it saying how you dont see too many of the IROCs in as good of shape as mine with that low of miles. im hopin to keep it under 70k for as long as i can but its so hard to do cause its so fun to drive.
i went to a car show yesterday and today, i was one of only 2 camaros yesterday at the show, the other one was a 1980. and the car show i went to today i was one of only two with the other one being a 2010 RS. i was the only 3rd gen.
