So at the risk of sounding dumb...does a standard temp gauge measure engine temp or water temp? I assumed it measured engine temp but today when I was working on my 85 I saw this (pic below...just above the light) on the back of my radiator. It looks like where you would plug something in to get a reading...its a half finch wide, one inch long spade. Thanks!
