Default T-5 1st gen conversion issues

I am posting this looking for some help with T5 clutch linkage. I bought a 1st gen Camaro that has a 5 speed T5 out of a 88-89 Camaro and I have problems with the clutch linkage. The clutch pedal does not move smoothly and it looks like the Z bar and clutch fork are not aligned like they should be. It has a straight clutch bar right now and due to the 12degree angled bell housing it seems like the fork should be angled upward so that the Zbar is is more of a horizontal alignment Can anyone tell me if the T5 mechanical used a specific fork or a ZBar? Thanks

Zbar was only used one year 83 in the 3rd gen with a t-5. I was a GM tech from 85-90 and I don't remember seeing one. I would just convert it to hydraulics. It will be a heck of a lot easier to maintain down the road.
