Default Supercharging my 383 stroker

I got a 1986 camaro with a 383 stoker. Planning on turning this into a pro street. I'm trying to buy a supercharger for this, but I would like to know how many pounds of boost the engine can handle.

Thank you.

For a blower motor, you want to have a forged crank, forged pistons, 4 bolt mains (splayed is best) and no more than 8.5:1 compression ratio. Of course, that's only if you're planning on having the engine last a long time. Is your engine built that way now?
