Default Short Somewhere??

Hey guys, me and my dad are restoring a 1988 RS Camaro. Some times the car cranks (i have to continue to give it gas to keep it idleing) and other times there is absolutly nothing.. Any ideas where to look?
Thanks,
Cole

if it has a short in it, only one way to fix it.

Lengthen it hahahaha

Sounds like a potential fuel problem, if you have to keep giving it gas?

You might want to check for potential vacuum leaks, around the intake manifold and etc.
If there is nothing when you turn the key, chances are there is a hot spot in your starter or a loose wire.
I have had those same two problems on my cam, not at the same time though.
Have one of your friends tap on the starter with a screwdriver or hammer while you crank the car. Hot spot.
Once the car is running have a friend hold it idle and spray some carb cleaner around gaskets and lines looking for bubbling air.
Hope it helps
