rookie mistake
so what do you do when you go to a older ( second gen.) 350 that only has heads that have the three bolt holes on one end of the heads and you need both heads to have three holes faceing forward for brackets to bolt to. or is the one bolt hole on the head along with the two down on the bottom by the timing cover and the alt. bracket that goes to the exh. stud good enough??? I need to run the 76cc heads due to flat top pistons.

hm, that might be tough. i havent worked with the older engine that didnt have the mounts in the heads. what year is the engine? you can get away with using mounts for the engine and only run the alt and ps

got the heads back yesterday. casting # 3970126 comes to a few different conflicting spec's some say 67-70 327/350 1.94 1.5 some say 68cc. and other say 76 cc. after I finish up the bowel work for the 2.02 / 1.6 valves I will cc. the heads to make sure of what I have before putting them on. As far as the ac. and ps. and alt. brackets anybody have any bright ideas? I have the brackets off the 92 sub. 350 donor motor as well as the brackets off the 91 rs/305
