Default REAR HATCH HELP

I WENT TO PUT MY NEW LIFT SUPPORTS ON MY HATCH AND FOUND OUT THAT THE PULL DOWN MOTOR ON MY REAR HATCH COMES ON BUT IT DONT PULL THE HATCH DOWN IT DONT MOVE AT ALL SO MY HATCH CANT LOCK WHAT CAN I DO TO LOCK IT OR WILL I HAVE TO GET A COMPLETE ASSEMBLE

Try pushing the pull down switch under the brushes with your finger (nothing going to grab it) to raise the pull down. If it is not that, you have bigger problems. Go to Top Down Solutions web site and download the repair and touble shooting instructions. They are also a good source for the parts you will need. These are the only parts that go bad.
1) nylon guides
2) Plastic gear
3) motor & housing if broken
It is no big deal to repair it once you take it apart and see what you need.

the hatch motor just stays on it never turns off and it doesnt lock the hatch

Remove the rear panel and disconnect the motor (it will drain the battery). You might have a stripped plastic gear.

yeah i did that but i forgot to say i bought a new motor and let me tell you im mad cause those aint cheap but it does the same think with the new motor

You didn't read my other Post on what you need to repair the Hatch. Well good luck.

check your relay. The tunk is prone to leaking there and you can get corrosion around your wiring and relay. I had the same problem bout a new assembly and then found out the relay got wet and fried
