Default Rear End Help

I had just recently bought a rear end out of a 1978 Camaro, it has 3:73 gears and its posi, with a disc brake conversion kit to it, it has no calipers, i was wondering what type of calipers i would have to use since it is a aftermarket part.

It depends on who made the kit. Call them & find out whic calipers should be used.

I actually don't know who made the kit, it was already installed on the rear end, and it was sitting in the guys yard for about 2 years, so I doubt that he would have any clue or a number to who I can talk to, do you have any more suggestions that I should do.

If You can't determine Who made them, You'll probably have to start from scratch and buy a disc brake kit or put the OEM drums back on.

Alot of those convertion kits use stock Ford rear disc brake calipers. others use stock GM rear disc calipers. just compare the design to what you can find at the parts store.
