Default Parts HELP

I as told I need a tag number for parts, idk what that means, but if someone could tell me this number for a rear positraction for my 85 camaro that would be great

do you have traction control? are you looking for parts or a whole rearend?

ok if you are looking to change the center section aka carrier, in almost all cases it will cost more and be considerable more work than it is to change the entire rearend. to tell for sure if you have traction control, look at the rearend, if it has wires going to sensors on each rear wheel at the area of the brake calipers then you have traction control. if you have wires going to the center section of the rearend only then you have abs only. any rearend from a 4th gen camaro will fit so long as they both have either abs only or traction control. abs only=3 channel, traction control=4 channel. if you are looking for option codes they should be on a sticker in the glove box or in the console or on the door. codes are 3 character codes having letters and numbers. rearend carrier gear ratio is shown as gu2=273, gu5=323

NO 3rd gen came with Traction Control....End of that line. Positraction = Limited Sip...End of that line also. Cost of Two Wheel Burnout..Priceless.....

Lol I want to have a two burn out so back, so 3rd gen camaro posi will fit?

Well I was just told by my friend that buy a rear end woul be easier, so and 3rd gen or same year should fit right?
