i just got my first camaro and im so excited its a 1989 camaro iroc-z with the 305 in it anutomatic tranny it runs great and got tons of potential. any ideas to beef it up performance wise or any ideas to get good power and torgue outta it?and any info and specs or tricks for this car would be appreciated thanks alot

 

you can do little stuff like port and polish the heads take it to a machine shop and get the heads cnc polished underdrive pulley bigger fuel injectors better tune up ac delco accel 8.5mm wires synthetic oil headers bigger exhaust maybe a 2.5 or 3 inch if not already

 

With out opening up the engine mods:

K&N air filters
Open up the air inlet, there are these flapper things, take a look, you will understand.

Underdrive pullies

bigger throttle body.

Bigger flow exhaust, borla, Edlebrock etc

ECM, computer.

Trans shift kit. firmer faster shifting.

Now, if you open up the engine, man, it is endless.
Just make sure all are EPA compliant.
