I am currently looking at 3rd generation camaros and I was wondering if there is anything in particular I should pay attention to, like problems that frequently occur amongst this model camaro.

 

They are old so just really look the car over. T-top cars tend to leak when seals get all dried up. Door hinges are ussually worn but that is an easy fix. The front nose gets pretty beat up from running them into parking blocks and drive ways. In my opinion same problems as any car this old. Good luck in your search.

overheating issues caused by neglect and running into things and tearing off the air dam, gauges tend to be inaccurate, if equipped with t-tops that have leaked a long time the floor could be rotted, clear coat flakes if it was built in california. thats the most common of them, aside from typical old car issues
