So a friend recently bought a 88 camaro and its haveing a rough time idleling when the car is cold,and once the car engine is warm it runs like a charm.when he bought it he was told that it was the cold start injector??? but when we contacted the local auto shops they have all said that nothing of the sort comes up on any parts lists.can anyone here gives us any insight as to the problem.thanks for the help.

 

there is a 9th injector ( or cold start) on the TPI models. That could be bad in some way. Have it checked, maybe replaced. its on the driver side between the downpipes on the runnerss
