Default Motor swap and no start

I have a 92 RS and just blew the heads on it, but I also have a 90 RS as a parts car. So instead of messing with the heads I just swapped the motor and harness with computer. I went to hook up the last plug that attaches to the dash harness and I blew a accesories 20amp fuse. I replaced it and it did it again. When I turn the key to start I get nothing. In the plug from the dash there are 2 orange 1purple, brown and a blue wire. The now new connecting plug is the same except for one wire. There is a blk instead of orange, so I snipped it just to see and I didn't blow the fuse. I have all power options and they all work, but when I turn the key to start I get nothing at all. So I'm getting power to everything except to start the car and I can't put a 20 amp fuse in the acc. fuse box without it blowing. Any help would be great. The new motor and harness did work great before the swap.

Default RE: Motor swap and no start

allthow the plugs may look the same and the wires my match colour but the question is do they go to the same location? I did a 87 iroc tpimotor swap into a carburated85 cutlass the plugs were the same for under the dash to the fuse panel evern the same wire coloure but where they went was different. you need to have the wiring diagrams for both cars infront of you and see where all the wires go ( the second orange is a power wire and may be taged into the other orange wire) just watch how many amps you are pulling it mayblow another fuse the or melt the contacts in the ignition switch.
