Default More motorswap ?'s

Okay, so I'm new at this, but I love my chevys... wrecked a 1991 gmc sierra in january that i had just put a new V8 350 4.7L engine AND a new automatic transmission into...now i'm faced with the debate of tryingto sell the salvaged engine and tranny or putting them into my currently out-of-commission 1987 RS camaro... is it possible? is it worth it? the car ran great till i took it to a shop to get it to pass smog...think they knocked some wires loose b'cuz that night my dash lights quit working (BUT it passed smog!) now when I turn it on,it runs okay till it warms up then it starts hitting and missing...I can drive it down the road till i get to the on-ramp and when i hit the gas the car wants to die...(already replaced the fuel filter...) [:-]any and all replies, advice are more than welcome!

the 87 RS was Cali. emissions only with a 2.8L V6 rated @ a whopping 135hp @ 4900 rpm and 160 ft tq @ 3900 rpm , the 350 engine and the trans from the truck will go in the car , but it's not going to bea bolt in and go kinda thing...you will have to do the basic V6-V8 swap..there are several post on here about this swap...do some searching and see if it's something you want to get into.

The swap will be easy enough to do though since the cars were made with small blocks in them.
