Can you submit it again? I'm sure something like "this does not compute" should get spit back. Unless they are going to assume that you want to stuff that cam into a lawn mower engine!

You would think that you could just put in "stock 89 TPI 305 (or 350)" and they would know how to fill in the fields. Or have one or two cam profiles that work with it already.

Yeah, you would think. The differences in the 305's head, between TPI and TBI models, are mostly the intake runner design. That affects the heads ability to breathe (one way or another), and each will want a different cam profile.

Surely I could submit it again, but I'll wait to see how they respond.

lol, a V8 lawnmower. That'd be interesting.

I also downloaded their "CamQuest" software for kicks and have been messing around with it. Apparently, unless I screwed up horribly, turbocharging a Viper V10 can actually reduce its output Name: emot-v.gif

if it takes time to give you a response i would assume someone will review what you wrote and probably figure out the error.

Nah they are going to grind you out some funky cam and make you pay for it.
Better get to building that V8 lawn mower

Well, I got a response- I had mentioned the camshaft used in the project from this thread:
https://camaroforums.com/m_7367/tm.htm

And the guy basically just said it'd work fine and said to call him if I had any more questions.

So... yeah.
