I have 1987 Iroc Z. Was wondering if anyone knows if there is a good cold air intake to get and does it really help on the cars?Also i have a check engine light anyone know where i can even start to check this,

Have the codes checked and find out what is wrong. For the money & work required, I would forget about the cold air intake. Also the results are not that impressive and I checked it out years ago when SLP offered one.
