Default A few questions about an 88 iroc

So I purchased an 88 Iroc from a guy who was in financial trouble after loosing his job. He put a brand new Jasper 350 (has a few things like hooker headers and cut outs) and trans in it which currently have maybe 1k miles on them, Flow Master exhaust, new rear end, new leather interior, and it came with all of the paperwork from everything that was done to it. I talked to one of my dad''s old friends who races every weekend and he showed me which tires to get since the stock ones just spin like crazy. He also said that I should get K&N air filters to improve gas mileage and power. Would they make that much of a difference? Are there any other small things I could do/upgrade to get more power out of it?

Also, the passenger door was crushed in and pretty much rebuild with bondo. Where is a good, cheapish place to find doors online or in the tri-state area? (I don't mean an over priced site like year one that charges $80 for door handles that I found on ebay for $15) The front facia(not sure if that's the exact name for it) needs to be replaced. Does any one sell them? Finding good condition used ones are next to impossible. Thanks

Does it have the 16" Iroc wheels? A nice set of 255/50/16's may help some as well as some suspension upgrades to help get the power to the ground better. K&Ns might help some but I doubt it would be really noticable.
Where are you located? Probably best to check the local salvage yards for a door
