So I bolted up a proformer rpm intake manifold,I have a new heater hose fitting. what goes on in the other hole? my stock set up has somkind of vac control next to the heater hose outlet and thats its.the thermostat housing has a temp censor and another vac controler(thats what they look like I havenot been able to find out there purpous yet.... the temp censor will not fit in the other manifold hole so what goes there! can I get one that will fit.
parts store guy didn't know anything so I figure somebody who has changed intakes would know and I would like the get a new thermostat housing so do i need these vac controlers? i'm lost. with no clue . Shes an 84 carbed 305.

one more thing, is it me or thedistibutor cap a pain to put on I cannot get the holder between the cap and fire wall to lock!!the other three are fine its just the one in the back!are you supposed to use a short flat head??I think thats why the ran funny when i got her kuz the cap wasn't on all the way
