I just bolted up an perfomer rpm intake manifold, what goes where!! I have a new heater hose fitting for the left side what goes in the right hole??
I tryed the coolant temp censor from the thermostat housing and it does not fit.the manual didn't say aything about it.and my old censors are broken on the thermostat. one is a censor the other one looks like a vacumcontroler of some sort. guy a the parts store was clue less.I was thinking a new thermostat housing with nothing on it and a temp sensor that will fit?? but i need to know if the other, "thing"(the vacum valve) runs? couldn't find it in haynes book ethier. anybody who has switched out intakes know whats up? its an 84 305 carbed

And what ever you got in the T stat house leave in there. If its broke replace it.
It works. I did an Edelbrock on my carbed 84
