Default I need some help with my Camaro

I want to put on some legit performance upgrades on my 1986 Z28. Its got a 305 in it and I need some help with some upgrades! Thanks guys

headers.. intake.. exhaust. maybe high performance ignition.

I believe you have the same gears in the back, 2.41 or 2.43, im not quite sure put putting in a posi rear will be a tremendous about of power gain. The 305 motors are strong even though some say different, maybe a simple throttle body spacer and intake system will help also.

See i was looking for something that was relatively cheap but still effective. I stil need to find a good wiring kit too

the 305's for that year are pretty weak. I have the same car except mine was tpi. are you sure it is tbi? according to the spec sheet we have on here it only lists 4 barrel carbs and tpi's for the V8's. either way you are getting between 155-190 hp. and if you are planning on running it pretty hard then it will be some wear and tear if you are pretty high in miles. Financially speaking you are most likely going to spend alot more building up your old 305 than if you dropped in a new 350. but if you are set on the 305 then here are some links to help you out, good luck.
