ok im building a 350 and im hoping someone can give me a horsepower guesstimate
standard bore and stroke
10.7:1 CR
ported 193 heads 1.94 valves
.488/.488 292/292 cam
stock chevy 4 barrel intake manifold
holley 600-650 cfm carb (i dont know what size i want yet)

 

Depends on what else you are goingto do to it, but my guess is 300-350 HP at the flywheel.

 

I would agree with pete. maybee a little less.

 

on that motor, i would suggest getting a low rise single plane manifold. with a cam that high, and a stock manifold, your pretty much confusing your engine. its got a high end cam that builds power up high, with a stock manifold that builds power off idle. it would run a lot better and be more powerful if u stuck a single plane under there. with a compression that high, my guess right now would be around 330-350 horsepower, and 350-380 ft lbs of torque.
