so by this does this not mean there were no camaros before 1987 Irocs w/ 350

The vin tags on cars changed in the 80's. Before they were almost kind of random numbers that really didnt amount to a hole lot.... just who made the car and where, sometimes you would be able to identify if it were a 4 door or vert.
