hey everybidy my name is eric and i just started driving so im in the market for a car or truck. My uncle has a 86 camaro IROC-Z blue with t-tops but it has been sitting for around 15 years. Its gonna need new tires, battery possibly a new gas tank and fuelpump( he never drained the gas.) But besides that its in perfect condition, but im not sure of the mileage. I was also wondering what are the weak link in these cars and the best way to get it started.(Im not a noob at working on things, cars tractors etc. and i do have a access to the high tech mechanic tools plus my own big tool box) thanks for any advice that i get!

 

well one weak problem is if u put apowerful motor in them u can twist the body so sub frame connecters will be needed

 

How much HP are we talking to make the car start twisting?
