Got a question

Default Got a question

in my 89 iroc-z my right blingker when out in the dash but not on the outside of the car. do i have to take off the dash in order to take out the old light and put in the new one?

Yes, you need to pull the cluster out of the dash to get to the bulbs.

Yep, and while your in there take the bezel that goes around the gauges, its really thin metal, behind the plastic one that you see, it will be like a flat black on one side and light blue on the other. take this and paint both sides eaither a gloss white or bright silver. when you put it back together wait until dark and turn on your gauges. they will be 3 or 4 times brighter than they were stock. really cool.

Hey buddy, im sorry i dont have any pics. i found out about this on the web a few years ago and i did and it really works and it is so simple to do, you dont even have to mess with the bulbs. i did find out after experimenting with differnt colors that gloss white works the best. give it a try man, i promise u wont be dissapointed.

p.s.- search for this topic on google and u will probably find it.

i might just do it, cuz i changed all my bulbs to blue and i very impressed but i might try it on a junk peice just in case i dont like it

the blinker on the dash in my car only works part of the time any suggestions to why

I've got that problem too....randomly, not all the time. I don't know for sure, but I believe its just that those bulbs don't fit perfectly on the plastic contact strips (copper) It seems most of the bulbs should have a tighter fitting, that or its dirty.
