Default Fan

Hi,

Irocz, 350tPI. I installed a new fan because the old one was spinning slow. Someone had hooked it to a switch. I re hooked the new fan to the relay. It spun a bit then stopped working. If I hook it up direct it runs fine. Bad relay? Are there two fans? What else?Oh yea, running at 220 degrees!

The stat is usually around 185, so it will keep that temp at highway speed. In traffic the temp is going to rise till the fan kicks in. The engine was designed to run at high temp, so as long as you have a 50/50 coolant mix, good hoses, good radiator, and and agood radiator cap,you should have no problems.
