Exhaust help

Default Exhaust help

Hello ive got an 86 Z28 305 and im looking for a muffler with the most bang for my buck. im not to interestd in a whole system. ive been looking ata 80 series flowmaster but is that a good choice? any help appreciated thanx

flowmaster is a good muffler but the way i see it why get i muffler that every other car one the road has.

but there is a lot of other brands out there, thers pypes preformance,magneflow,even cherry Bombs has a chambered mufflers, you can also go to summit racing.com they have a lot of diffrent brands of mufflers.

Flowmaster makes a great muffler, but may be moot if you do not put in a high flow cat. The old cat. will most likely be in poor shape andrestrict the natural tones of the engine. Also, these mufflers sound the best with headers. Oryou may find that you need none of these. Good luck, hope this helps.
