clutch pedal
'86 camaro. 5-speed manual.
Clutch pedal was squeaking so we replaced the clutch master cylinder (slave cylinder i think it's called). Aftera very hard time getting the new one in.. it still squeaks. It's a hydrolic system and the fluid is all brand new. The pedal squeaks as soon as it is pushed in a little bit, whether the car be on or off. Any ideas?

First off the clutch master and the clutch slave are two different parts. The master is bolted on your firewall and is where you add your fluid in. The master is also directly attached to your clutch pedal so I'm thinking that is what you replaced, right? The slave cylinder is mounted down by your transmission bellhousing.
My clutch pedal also squeaks and is caused bymy pivot bushing at the top ofthe clutch pedal arm. You can try spraying some silicone spray on it to see if it helps otherwise you may choose to replace the bushing. I just live with mine because it's not that bad...yet.
