choke light

Default choke light

i was dirving down the highway and my choke light came on and i cant figure out how to shut it off my car is running no different then it has ever what is going on

I have an edelbrock that did that. I took off the positive and negative wires and put them back on and it went away lol.

yeah it didnt work so i had it running and tried to see if something was wrong my primaries are fully open and secondaries wont open at all even when im reving it is their a connection or vacuum not working and it will die whne its just sitting their idling

Yeah I can't really say much maybe someone else will see your post. I'll keep checking back to see if you get it fixed so I'll know for next time I see this question.

yeah i dont know its weird it runs fine on the highway and around town im just worried something else will happen if i dont fix it

ya well mine was on for about a month or two before I reconnected the wires. but it was abit annoying to have the light on the time. Mine was the same it drove fine and all nothing seemed wrong just the light was on lol.

thats dope i was wondering if my o2 sensor went out and now its leaning out my car when its idling

Could be one of at least two things. Your car has a choke heater relay that's hiding somewhere under the dash. The relay itself could be bad. Or, your alternator might be bad and not putting out quite enough juice. Low voltage to the choke relay, and the choke light will go on.
