im trying to decode my camaros vin and for some reason im having a hell of a time doing it. if anyone could help me that would be great. its an 86 IROC, thats all i know about it

I have an 83 Z-28 orig owner with a cross fire LG4 engine. anybody steer me to prod numbers plz.

 

first#is were made yours #1 is usa. second is manufacturer G general motors. third is division yours #1 chevrolet. forth and fifth together series yours FP camaro sport coupe. six and seventh body types yours 87 is coupe 2 dr. sport.eighth is restraint system yours is F book says this should be a # 1 thru 4. next is yours #5 means code rpo LWO type L6L L4 FI. next year yours G 1986. next assembly plant yours N norwood. the rest is plant sequential number. hope that helps
