I have a 85 IROC-Z it had a 305 TPI in it I put a 100 shot of NOS on it. We just have a 1/8 of a mile here with no NOS it was running from 9.50-9.70 with NOS the best time I got was a 8.50. I just put a new motor in it. Its a 350/330hp I will post some pic soon

I am guessing the converter by its self would make a huge difference. I also dont see a Y-pipe in that list and would question real HP gains. I think if you did every power mod on this list you may pick up 40 at the wheels at the very most (of course not including the bottle). Now add a good cam and a decent set of budget heads like 113s or something like that and i bet power jumps up to just under 300 at the wheels with a good converter. Also betting the car would be some where in the high 13s as long as it could grab traction and had a good set of gears and converter. Back that up with a 100 shot and should be hitting high 12s. Just my 2 cents
And yes i know this is a old thread.

Horsepower by addition...Now lets see if I added up all my aftermarket claimed Horsepower by the Mfg I figure I am over 400 for my car. Now I have to find a few more parts to add on to my total. I am beginning to like this Horsepower by addition.
