Big boy time!
I purchased a late drag car this week for 300 Dallors. Guy had 383 in it and a 700r. He kept motor and tranny but rest of car is there, I have a Jimi Knix built 454 dynoed at 850 hp I bought a while ago with a turbo 400 tranny. I'm planning on putting it in my 84 camero, what all would I need to do to my front suspension to not bind under that much HP? Any Frame connectors or anything of that sort?

wow... where to start...
i'd upgrade to an aftermarket k-member, a-arms, springs, shocks, etc weld in subframe connectors, new drive shaft, rear diff, 31 spline axles, rear disk brake conversion is it a t-top car? rollcage installed since it was a drag car? the above is just assuming non of that is already done |
