Just wondering... Do 305s and 350s have the same bellhousing bolt pattern? Also, is the bolt pattern the same in a fourth gen 350?

 

yes the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same on all SBC and BBC engines including the LT1. the LSx engines are different. but the 3rd gen camaro bell housing is different than a standard chevy bell housing because it has the trans turned 30 degrees instead of completely vertical.
