Im looking to buy a 89 camaro with a newer 350 motor. The guyclaims the transmission pan is leaking because the old one crapped out and when he had a new one put on they put a chrome one on but since its metal it wont sit right when it heats up it leaks again and when he had the guy replaced it again he just put the old one back on. He said the trans was rebuilt maybe 10k miles ago so he knows its not the transmission and when its driving its fine but when its stopped it leaks. Does this song accurate? The car is beautiful he wants 3k for it the engine is beautiful with a few mods, ttops, no rust anywhere, you can tell its been stored forever, interior has been completly redone yellow and black and looks awesome. Thanks for any and all advise. He said he doesnt wanna drive it because its not his house and doesnt want fluid all over.
