Im considering a new crank and cam and beefing up the internals to get good horsepower and torqe. I heard about the 383 and 402 stroker kits. Anybody know if they are legal in california? Would anyone even notice since its the parts are internal?
I thought Id go that way before I get new heads and ect.

 

As long as thecar passes the pollution test, and everything outsde looks legal for the year of the car,and no pollution parts missing, you should have no problems. Just get it tuned properly so that it passes the sniffer test.
