yep

shorty headers and y pipe

a cat back system

open element air cleaner

that's about it

if you want some zip then replace the rear gears

best bang for the buck are hedman shortys and y pipe but price out the comeptition to see if any are on sale. I find Performance Auto Parts and Truck Accessories to be less expensive

for a cat back, I think you just missed the rebate but you can check, Dynomax had their super turbo or whatever it's called system and it was $121 after rebate. That's a very low pice

for an open air, just go to your local parts store and pick up any 14 inch chrome unit they have which is all dusty from sitting on their shelf and offer $10 less than they are asking.

When you are done, you will have more HP than the 4 cylinder Honda Accords but don't try running against moms in the Honda vans, she'll spank you silly with her v6.

The best one I can think of is to unbolt the motor and bolt in one that makes more than 165HP.

I like the changing the rear end gears idea, but to what?

I have a cat-back magna flow already installed,... What about going true dual pipes?

Also I believe a positive trac rear end would be helpful?

First great is really no use to me as when I stomp it from say around about 20 it just spins, and also all the way through 2nd as well...

I think you're getting led down the wrong thought path here. You're asking about a TBI (throttle body injection), but the Z28, according to your user name, came with TPI (tuned port injection). Two way different animals.

Yes, that's the RS TBI setup there. Instead of an engine swap, maybe someone did an emblem swap, that's an easier way to get a "Z28". Does your title say it's a Z28? Does the VIN show it as a Z28?
