I have some on my phone, which is how I'm browsing the internet currently. No internet in the house at the moment. I plan on getting it soon, and when I'm back to browsing on my comp, I'm going to upload plenty of pictures- including my progression of the rebuild. Hah. I hope people get a kick out of it, cause I know I like seeing people work on their cars like that.

There's really nothing rare about it, to be honest. To me personally it is only because I have never seen one similar to it. I've seen a good amount of Camaros in my tri-state area, but again, this is just from my perspective. Its a 1989 IROC convertable with an auto. I have yet to see another convertable camaro that's a 3rd gen.
Good condition 3rd gens are rare in this area. Im from NYC, took me ages to find mine and even that has its problems.

Everyone butchers it and it's either rusted to hell from winter salts + weather, or "halfway done" to being a track car. (No back seats, no AC, etc.)

bolt up a 350 you'll never regret it. Hell, for that matter you can go to a 377, 383, lots of choices.

One of the things I'd recommend is getting the heads and intake ported, and doing something with the exhaust. The biggest restriction for those motors is the intake and exhaust.

You will also need bigger injectors and a re-tune of the ECU. The stock on that are 19 lb, you'll probably need to go to 22-24 depending on what you do.
