hey guys i just picked up a 91 rs with a 305 h.o. only 10k miles on the brand new engine, 5spd. i love the car and im proud to be a 3rd gen owner, i was wondering how much horsepower the 305 h.o crate engine had?

 

If its factory crate, id guess around 220-230 but im not exactly sure.

I f its TBI probably about 170HP

 

im not sure about the High Output engines but the stock 305's had 170 - 230 hp. But in your case this is not a stock 305. Because I dont think cheverolet put high output engines in 91 models. Atleast the RS's.
