This might be a broad question. But my uncle just gave me a 350 motor. As far as i know, its the bare block. However, i would like to try and get 500 hp out of this motor. Would someone be able to tell me what id need?

basically, the only thing you will be keeping is the block. new internals, heads, cam, power adder.

 

A pocket full of cash....maybe even two pockets!

 

relatively a easy task, depends on how big your wallet is.

heads, cam, internals, upper end, balancing, etc... carb selection and other items like that add hp, and all need to be considered for your application, with exactly what your planning on doing with it.

what are you wanting, street or strip?

 

Boost, and lots of it! Forged bottom end and great flowing heads will get you there!

 

Stroke it...ust huge heads..and alot of sprey, other then that turn it into a 383 and ise a 150 shot..... but it would be cheaper to just buy a crate engine.
