So... I just purchased an 89 Camaro with a crate 350 4 bolt installed with rebuilt 700r4. I was just wondering about some ideas on some things i should do with it next. Here is what I know for sure it has.

aluminum heads
roller rockers and small cam but not sure measurements
chrome valve covers
air gap intake
holley 750cfm carb

Any suggestions would be really helpful. Engine below

as far as i know its a full rebuild with a slight shift kit. not 100% every detail until i get all the paperwork monday.

 

Oh it has a torque converter locker hooked up with a switch. That's it.

 

I would go with a new msd dist ive seen 15+ hp gain on the dyno just by that alone

 

Seems a little over carbureted unless you plan on running 7000 RPMs. You really have not given us a lot to go on. A GM crate motor can be anywhere from 260-450 HP. To the best of my knowledge they all have 4 bolt mains.

I would be afraid of the rear giving out unless it has been upgraded also what you work on next would depend on what you want out of the car. You a drag guy? Street racer? Auto cross? Drive it, what don't you like about it? make that better.
